Sidhu Moose Wala, Congress leader and Punjabi singer, was shot dead at Mansa district today. Two other people were injured in the firing. The incident happened just a day after Punjab withdrew the security of 424 people, including Mr Moose Wala.
Driver was also shot. Sidhu Moosewala was shot multiple times.
Sidhu Moosewala was rushed to the hospital by locals of Jawaharke village but he was declared dead by the doctors upon arrival.
